First Aid Saves Lives and Gives Ming Wai Happiness

Hi everyone! I finally finished a 'project' i started at home: to get a fully functional first aid kit for the home! haha... so there! here's an inside look at what makes MY first aid kit.. (qi kit wud prob do a better one, he's ex-storekeeper anyway, but i guess dis wud do as well...)
well, what else? labels!! hehe...

Ok, obviously you need to get a kit. A DIY kit shud be able to do the job... Printed logos of SJAM and First Aid are optional. =)

The top part: where all the small stuff go

also optional... heh...

in case you need them for stuff like securing bandages or even getting a splinter out

scissors, pen, tweezers, and pen torch

plasters... LOADS of em...

Top: 4cm x 2.0m self adhesive roller bandage with some fasteners if you want more security

Bottom: Small sized gauze (those white square shaped thingies)

2.5cm x 2.0m self adhesive roller bandage, tape for... taping lah.

10cm x 2.0m self adhesive roller bandage and cotton buds

open sesame! the bottom compartment

medium sized gauze (yes, those white thingies come in different sizes)

triangular bandages

gloves (for HANDS not other parts of body)

empty plastic bags just in case

cotton balls... these are actually cotton balls baluted with gauze, so the cotton doesnt stick to d skin while maintaining its absorbant quality. qi kit does a smaller one which has a little tail he calls some kind of cocktail...

what could these be??

acriflavine aka yellow liquid thingy: promote healing + disinfect

diluted dettol: the first thing to use when cleaning a wound... after water if possible. pls rmbr to DILUTE ur dettol before use, concentrated dettol can hurt... it's one capful to 120ml of water.

alrite! that concludes my little first aid kit tour. haha... whaddayathink? sure, i wont use it everyday lah, but in case of an emergency when ure over for a visit, rest assured i've got the skills, knowledge, and equipment to handle it... at least til we get u to a clinic or hospital if u really need it.

by the way, try listening to 'Mamula Moon' on the top right hand corner of my blog. It has a very... familiar ring to it, no? haha... i prefer this version tho. so romantic.... hehe...
