The journey started at 10 in the morning when.. Yes! I woke up. Almost in a trance i rose from my slumber and prepared for another day out.

First, I walked across the street to LRT station.

Take monorail from Bukit Nanas station to Imbi station (Times Square). Get off at Platform A.

Have 4 different types of cake! Err... (clockwise from top left) Tiramisu, dunnowhat, Chocolate Banana, and.... dum dum dum daah!!! Chocolate Indulgence! mmmm... xp

Get the birthday couple to snort some cake... I mean!! erh... u did NOT hear anything from me! hahahaha....

6.30pm: Reach her house. Got lost, so went round and round and round kota kemuning abit... den coz of dat had to pay RM25 instead of RM20. wtf?? luckily shared with Edwin. dammnnnn tired sia.

went to summit, they sell the xbox360arcade with external 20gb memory, two wired controllers, modified, and 10 games free... RM1500. wth?? and a lifetime discount on games, now onli rm10 each instead of 15. whoa... too good to be true. oh well. here it is.

wacky week

it's been a wild, wild week.


on monday night was christmas eve dinner with mum's side of family at kelab darul ehsan. buffet. good food! there was quite a decent variety available... i went one round and i was stuffed dy. (yes!! ming wai was STUFFED... amazing huh...??)

my 3 notty notty cousins... diane, justin, and shernice. shernice so cute la.

den on tuesday which was christmas, i went out to mid valley to hang out with my 2nd family!! my brothers and sisters and lovers from kiwanis youth camp. (to those who didnt go: tatsuai la... told u to go rite? dowana listen... see? u missed out on da love!! next year go k!!). was with edwin, vina, sabrina, qian qian, natalie and tata. we met around 2 lah. walk walk walk around n walk walk around in mv gardens oso.

dis is sabrina catwalking around. haha... even edwin tertarik leh. hahah... too bad he's got a gf dy. hehehe... if not den vina n i can be bridesmaid n best man. but we're all more like siblings den friends or love interests. we're immune to each others' relationship-love-vibes!

went to eat sushi at mv gardens. qian qian came late coz he was coming home from kedah la. so 6 of us shared 3 huge bowls of udon... it was vunderfool!! but cudnt finished la. i shared with sabrina... but den both of us oso small eaters.... (haha... if u belif la...) but in the end we still cudnt finish it. d wasabi there like takda kick leh. wonder why. eat d pure wasabi oso no feeling one. tata was like so out of place... he dont eat fishy fishy. funny eh?

dis is my darling vina vina... she's so pretty!! eee... gives a new meaning to vinalicious. yum yum!

after dat we went back to midvalley where vina n sab (later joined by qianqian) went shopping while natalie, edwin, tata and i went bowling + arcade. this tata kinda pro in initialD la, but edwin and i both predict he sure fail his undang next time... haha... sure la. going downhill using 5th gear leh. haha... went bowling where i won d 1st game and 2nd game got owned by natalie. damn funny sia... we got the last lane, which wuz d one to the utmost right. there's a small walkway beside our lane that leads to the back where all d mechanics of d machines are n stuff... so edwin the pandai that he is went round the side with his bowling ball and tried to score... but he got a split. hahaha!!!

after hanging out somemore we went over to natalie's house from kepong ktm station. after dinner (splendid cooking by Mr.Law) we went over to d nearby basketball court for a few shots. it was almost pitch black there wei... so d other 3 guys (edwin, tata, qianqian) took off their shirts to play. i was... erm... ok lor... i oso take off. vina they all like about to tear my shirt off dy... so wat to do. i like my shirt ma. hahhaha... so we ended up playing in d dark, shirtless. me n qian qian beat edwin n tata 15-11, 15-14... whee!! actuali d 2nd match hor, we all like damn tired dy to cut in... so everyone taking 3pt shots... den qian and i were trailing 13-14... n qian passes the ball to me... and tata running toward me to block... i jump and take the shot... and it goes sailing thru d air... and.... *whooop!* it's in!! it's in!! qian and ming win for the second time!! the crowd.... was sitting at half court chit chatting n ignoring us. sheesh... nah la... they were chit chatting there while waiting for us. after d match, i realised... i was covered with sweat. my whole upper body was WET.

natalie and i when i was all hot and sweaty and uncomfortably wet.

so den we went back n showered and hung out in natalie's room. we kinda messed it all up la... so after like an hour of tahaning nat cudnt take it anymore n let us out to go mamak. haha... we went there where i had paper tosai (paper tosai n roti tisu not same ah?) and 2 teh o ais limau. tata fell asleep while d 4 of us talked n talked n talked... n suddenly tata woke up bang table n start cursing cursing n complain complain all mosquitoes around la dis la dat la... so we went back lor. den tata went up to sleep... so it was me, edwin, vina, sab, and qianqian lying down and sitting down in awkward but comfy positions in d living room talking n talking n talking... til i fell asleep. dang... den they cudnt sleep coz i was snoring. wth?? soweee!!! tired leh... very very tired... dat was abt 4 or 5am lah.

woke up to sound of vina's voice. whoa... so nice. had breakfast n den went to edwin's place... supposed to go home with tata... but then at night keith got bday party leh. so if i went home, sure i wont go keith's place dy wor. erh... erh... kae lor. i sacrifice abit... stayed with edwin n qian qian (tata go home alone) and went for keith's party.

keith's party ok ok la... chicken was good. melody hantam like whack whack whack onli... haha... i love melody's smile le. it's a look of pure joy when she laughs. it's impossible to fake... when melody laughs... the world laughs with her. guys, if ure ever emo or anything rite, go ajak melody out la. one laugh from her n all ur worries melt away. haha... got to noe 4 new girls... anna, ingrid, joey, n claire. yes, joey is a GIRL. interesting eh? wonder how many girls there are named joey. it'd be interesting to noe.

went back to edwin's hse, stoned n stoned... finally 3 of us slept on edwin's double bed. snored agin. wat the... den i woke up earliest (dun tink im so good boy... dat was ady abt 10am leh.) played team fortress n cs... geng man his comp. connection cepat, computer pun canggih... onli thing is dat he a bit blur. hahahahah... no i was just kidding!! im sorry edwin!! *pinch* ouchhhhhhh!!!!

den went to midvalley agin to see sabrina n nicholas there with qian qian. edwin went gym, so he din join us. wah... sabrina get 7A u noe!! wait lemme do dis in capitals.

hong kong + shenzhen

this is da pictorial report! haha... which reminds me... kyc havent do report. dang... nobody emailed me anything. guess i'll hafta do old style lah.. me n myself do. =(

anyway, tuesday til saturday i was in hong kong n shenzhen (which is the part of mainland china closest to hong kong). so i'll let the pictures tell the story... is not a picture worth a thousand words? but stil, i'll explain each picture lah. haha... im contradicting myself, aren't i? nah.

first day in hong kong. had wan tan mee soup for dinner... and a beef noodle soup as well. they really did it nicely, the beef. the tenderloin part which is usually tough and sotong-like texture now feels like fat. which turned me off actuali. but still... the soup tasted good. seen here is me looking all sleepy from the flight. (pretend onli la.)

well... disneyland was.... okaylah. after going to disneyland anaheim in los angeles and disneyland paris... i have to say it sucks. there's only one rollercoaster, the space mountain. well... others are just rides. nothing exciting lah. if u wana go to a real disneyland go to florida. that ain't disneyland tho. it's disneyWORLD. there are 6 worlds in disneyworld, each the size of disneyland paris, which is a lil bigger than disneyland hong kong. aisheeee....

my christmas plans!! today i had dinner with mum's side of d family at kelab darul ehsan. nice food. tmr it's out with sabrina and da gang somewhere i dont noe yet, den staying over at her place along with the whole bunch of ppl. den wednesday im trying to get zmin to go out with me. haha... surprising eh? after 9months still gotta ask and ask for dates. but u noe wat? it's worth it. every single time. not her fault anyway... it's d weather conditions. unfavorable. sometimes when there's typhoon at home, den cannot lo. haha...

my bro's laptop kena some kinda virus n his comp was sort of formatted of some sort lah. anyway since i came to my dad's place here in subang at around 11pm, i've been downloading n installing stuff like iTunes, AVG and windows live msngr for him... so now i have hardly any time to update coz im yawning like every 10seconds. my eyes are dry. anyway. update first...

i went to klang today with edwin and hanged (hung?) out with nicholas... nicholas drove us around all day. first stop: bah kut teh under d bridge. splendid! neva ate any bah kut teh as good as dat b4. next stop: more bah kut teh! went gallivanting around for another shop to prey on. den after dat we lepaked at d new jusco in klang, den went to play some bball. haha... i won nicholas 11-9 thanks to my 3pointers which got me from 0-5 to 2-7 and den suddenly 9-9, and d winner of coz. hahaha... i guess nicholas wasnt even trying hard to play la, tatsuai can beat him. kai!

after bball we went for cendol (i had 2 bowls of cendol, a cup of coconut juice and a cup of sugarcane juice) den they dragged me to a barber. yesh, i have a new haircut. even tho it's diff and nice but still a bit uneven lah d sideburns there... like got patches of thichk hair surrounded by thin hair. but anyway it's still cool and i'd reli like to show u guys but.... my consciousness is slowly fading dy. addlkfdlkjzzzzzzzzzz..... huh? huh? oh. yeah. blog. update. must. mmm....

KIWANIS YOUTH CAMP 2007

Hey hey!! I don't regret skipping SJAM Regional Review (which is a state level function) to attend da camp. I got to noe (or rather got to noe better) lotsa ppl. I oso noe a lotta ppl from last year la, but onli dis year i get to noe dem better. melody n sabrina are d onli ppl i can actuali say i know from last year... the others were either names without faces or faces without names or ppl i got to noe after camp or ppl i din reli noe well. now all that's changed with this camp. but then horh... i a bit malas wana blog since camp coz... i'll be writing a report for kckl website abt kyc anyway. so... i need all u guys' help!! i dont wana 'write' d article. rather, i want YOU to write it, and i'll just compile. instead of "written by Ming Wai" i want it to be "written by KYC participants, compiled by Ming Wai". well... just tell me what you think of the camp and what i can quote you on. email me at mingwairulz@hotmail.com k! when i get it up on the website, i'll inform u guys thru here. spread d word please!!

kyc was 7-10dec, friday til monday. tuesday i stoned. wednesday went out pavillion. thursday stoned. friday had friends over to my place for pizza cooking and sushi making, and then went to bro's uni for their 'friday night live' which is their annual talent showcase of sorts lah. amazing. went home at 4.30am. saturday went tay jun lin's house and den vin son's hse and swam and stoned til i fell asleep as his place n woke up at 7.30am. den tday i went to mv for d education fair and had carl's junior for lunch. having wagyu beef later. details later when i get home. tahz!

went out with lynnett. supposed to go out with lot of ppl one, but then all oso bz, ffk, dis n dat n dis n dat so i just thought "screw this!!" and went out with just lynnett. well, on d bright side, we hogged the karaoke machine for 4 hours la, singing only songs we want... haha... coz onli 2 of us ma. bowled oso at times... i BEAT her TWICE in a row. wakkakakakaa.... got photo evidence oso but then... nvm la. after she dowana go out with me anymore. hahahaha...

went to visit my Yeh Yeh who had eye surgery at GH. after dat, i went with my bro to his uni where he gave guitar lessons... it's basic guitar for dummies kinda stuff la (like "this is called a guitar.) but anyway it was still a good lesson. i learnt a thing or two too. my brother la. lame duck who can teach a bit bit la. after dat, went with his friend seng chye to buy this mini bass from a shop called 'do re mi' somewhere in chow kit. i got myself a tuner oso... it's damn cool. doesnt use sound at all. i'll blog abt it soon lah. then we went to have chili pan mee at medan tuanku, restoran kin kin. damn bloody spicy sia... i tink i killed the majority of microorganisms in my GI tract dy. haha... i tink even my toilet complained that night. hahaha.. before going home we went back to the uni where i tried out seng chye's 6 STRING BASS. omG!!!! it's damn heavy... so nice to be able to play lower B. woaaahhhh.....

had dim sum brunch, den went for a sjam charity dinner at chin woo stadium near petaling street. i wore long sleeved shirt and tie wei!! it's a once in a blue moon kinda thing to see myself dressed up so formally... the shirt barely fit lor. pants tight. underwear.... nvm.

MY FIRST TIME

It was my "first time" today.

She came over to me and touched my arm gently. Then before I knew it, she had put it in. There wasn't any pain. She was used to doing it already. I, however, was captivated by watching it going in. Then, she pulled it out. This time it was bigger. She inserted it and then I started pumping and squeezing and pumping...

After a while the stuff finished coming out of me. She gently took it out and wiped me down. Then, I was sent away, never to see her again.

a whole 450ml ok!! and i felt a lil lightheaded after that. n i cant reli use my left arm much coz if i exert too much, den d wound feels a lil numb. but at d end of it all, i feel reli reli good coz i've probably saved a life or two with my dark red blood. go for it ppl!! it's charity with needles involved. and oh yeah, the nurse i got wasnt dat bad looking at all too. haha... she was reli proficient with d handling. aww.... here's d clip of the insertion process. note dat the tube was transparent but dark red in colour after she inserted it. that's my blood escaping!! gaaaahh!!

A peculiar thing happened today. I had a long nap in d evening, around 5.30pm til 9. Not really a nap anymore lar, but that's not the point. I had such a deeeep sleep that when I woke up at 9+, my mum was asleep in her room, and it was dark... Den I started to panic and was like... Shit shit shit I'm gonna be late for chemistry!! Den I actually started changing... Got to the point where I was shirtless and was fixing all badges and collar pins on my uniform... Den I started to think. Shit I'm so unprepared for chem lidat!! Den another part of my brain responded. Never study meh? Not even last minute study? Den I thought, hey that's strange coz I don't remember studying the nite b4. I dont even rmbr eating dinner!! hey wait a minute. It IS the night before!!! GAAAAHHHH!!!! Serious man, I was gonna go brush teeth and all and den go school dy. hahaha... lucky i saw the clock: 20:53. Den I went back to sleep. Hahaha...

Now I'll be off to do my final revisions for alkanes, alkenes, chemical bonds, salts, acids n bases, and the like. Screw this wei. ARGH...

So! I'll not bore you to death, but rather just enough to induce coma in some larh. Here's a brief description of SPM so far for me:

BM = Ok. Glad it's over.
BI = Had fun. Refer to my previous post.
Sej = So-so. Hope I don't ever have to study it again.
Math = Left the hall the earliest allowed (30 mins after start of paper). DAMN EASY.
EST = Slept most of the time. TERLALU DAMN EASY.
Add Math (today) = Paper 1 = good. Paper 2 = extra good. Had time to do additional questions.

And those that are coming are:

Physics (Wednesday) = Dang. Another whole day at school. D'oh!
Chemistry (Thursday) = Hope I get the stuff right.
Moral (Friday) = Screw Moral.
Biology (Monday) = I hope hormones don't kill me... Not in my body, I mean questions about hormones.

Sigh... SPM is a really different experience. I'll recap to you the events of the day. I woke up at 6.10am, after shower I went to school. Along the way, bought kuih for breakfast. AddMath 1 8-10am. 10am - 2pm = free time. Went Mc'd, had hash browns, den later had chicken mcdeluxe, den played Hearts with friends. Sambung in school. Won both times. AddMath 2 2-4.30pm. Came home, stoned away. Tired le. Brands Chicken Essence wearing off... HAhaHa...

Kim Plagiarised

It was my favourite SPM subject today!! English you dumb dumbs, not Sejarah. Doesn't take a quack doctor to figure that one out you know.

Anyway, I was quite pleased with my essay. This is the essay I wrote (roughly la). The question was: Write a story beginning with: 'Kim was nervous when the door opened...' Since I couldn't, for obvious reasons, bring out my answer sheet, this is basically what my story was about. Yes, I admit I was not really that creative coz I "borrowed" some ideas from Neil Gaiman and Meet the Robinsons. Let's hope my spm marker isn't a fan of either, then. R&R aite? Kim

Kim was nervous when the door opened. Butterflies in her stomach, sweaty palms, you name it, she’s got it. This was the 7th pair of prospective parents who’ve come to see if she’s the right one for them. She tightened her grip on Zimin. The stuffed tiger let a low, guttural growl out.


Mama Angela, the one who ran the orphanage led the couple into Kim’s bedroom. “This way, Mr and Mrs Hart. Have a seat. Allow me to introduce you to Kim, Kimberley Davidson, but of course, if everything goes well today, she’ll be Kimberley Hart.” Zimin growled again from the increased pressure.

“Say hello then, Kim. Where are your manners?” Mama Angela implored.

Kim turned her large grey eyes to see the awkwardly smiling couple seated across her room. “Hi.” she said simply.

Mama Angela turned to the couple. “She’s quite shy, especially with strangers. She’ll warm up to you though, in time. Shall I get us some tea, then?” Mama Angela winked at Kim and closed the door behind her.

Silence filled the brightly-lit room. The numerous ceiling lights, wall lights, and bedside lamps did nothing to conceal Mr. Hart’s nervous perspiration.

“So, uh, Kim. Your room does have a lot of lights, doesn’t it?”

Kim nodded, her eyes on her pink feet.

“Well, uh, it’s a very, uh, nice room you’ve got.”

Nod.

“You’re afraid of the dark, aren’t you?”

Kim glanced up at Mr. Hart’s smiling face fearfully. This was it, she thought. Her fear for the dark had put off the previous 6 couples who dismissed her childish fears, though she was still a child. They were in search of a perfect child for them to pass on their good names. The four-year old returned her gaze to her feet.

“Can I tell you a secret, Kim?” Mrs. Hart looked at her husband, puzzled.

Mr. Hart leaned forward and cupped his hands to Kim’s ears and his mouth.

“I'm afraid of the dark too.”

Relief mixed with astonishment washed over Kim. She now looked up at Mr. Hart in wonder, and perhaps hope as well.

“Like you, I have my very own stuffed tiger too. I’m sure you’ll like her just fine.”

Mr. Hart went over to his wife and hugged her almost exactly like how Kim was hugging Zimi. The door opened and in walked Mama Angela with a tray of pots and little cups.

“Everything alright here, Mr. and Mrs Hart?”

For the first time that day, Kim smiled.

They raced through the darkness that enveloped the jungle. Zimi ran with hardly a misplaced step and with perfect balance. Kim linked her arms around the tiger tightly and shut her eyes against the darkness, feeling only the roaring wind and hearing Zimi’s laboured breathing. At long last, they stopped before a tall rock mountain.

“Where are we going tonight, Zimi? Are we visiting the elves? Did the dwarves ask for us again? Does the sorceress need our help? Do the druids need us to help gather ingredients for their magic potions?”

“No, young Kim. Tonight, we climb.”

Kim looked up at the towering mountain. It was free from any foliage; it was bare rock.

“I don’t think I can, Zimi.”

“It is sometimes a mistake to climb up, but it is always a mistake to not try at all. A wise man once told me that.”

In the dim moonlight they started their ascent.

“I’m scared, Zimi.”

“Yes, fear is always there. But is it so hard to try?”

They climbed.

“Why is it so hard for us to fall?”

They climbed.

“Why do we fear being wrong?”

They climbed.

“Why can’t we face failure?”

They climbed.

“It gets harder the higher you get.”

They climbed.

“When you climb up, you just might reach the top.”

They climbed.

“Sometimes when you climb, you fall.”

They climbed.

“But sometimes…”

Kim slipped.

“…when you fall…”

Kim plunged downwards, pulled by gravity.

“…you fly.”

She spread her arms and glided through the night, flying high up in the skies.

Kim woke up. She rubbed her eyes with the back of her hand and looked around. Strangely, Zimi was nowhere to be seen. She fumbled for a lost memory. Somehow she felt that she forgot something very important. She only remembers flying, flying high above the clouds… then nothing.

Kim rushed out her room and headed down the hallway. She entered her parents’ room and joined William and Roxanne Hart on the bed. She snuggled up close to Roxanne.

“What? Oh, it’s you, Kim. Did you just have a bad dream? I had one too. I saw you falling down a mountain and I couldn’t save you. It’s alright now, honey. We’re here for you… Oh my God! Kim, what happened to your hands?”

Kim’s hands were bleeding from cuts by sharp rocks.

it's seriously damn boring to stay at home alone all day.

so again, i turned to the marvels of heat and mixing of ingredients to prepare myself a meal... this time, it's pizza! there was a lot of leftover cheese and mushrooms from yesterday's omelettes, so i used them to make pizza. simple one lah. first, i cut some pita bread into half like so:





because i lacked the proper bolognaise sauce as base, i used a little bit of heinz ketchup instead. works just as well as long as u dont make it the main taste lah.

and then i put a little bit of minced meat around... (no prizes for guessing what meat)



put mushrooms and put cheese...

here's my little secret! it's called seasoning. put some basil n oregano to make it seem more originally italian larh.

you don't even have to use an oven. use microwave oven! well, technically it's an oven lah, but what the heck. i used combination of grill and microwave for around 2-3 minutes (to make sure da meat is cooked... wudnt wana get salmonella from meat right? but shudnt salmonella come from salmon? nvm...)

voila! my first attempt. but then... i had a lot of cheese n mushrooms left, not to mention the other half of the pita bread. so... logical thinking will give you an idea what i did next.

3 quarters for me, 1 quarter for mum later when she comes home!

my second pizza. more cheese and more meat and more everything lah. added chopped onions as well.

so that's all for my daily menu. tmr i'll prob be going out with my bro to look for his NNEEEEEWWWW electric guitar. damn... i want an electric bass!! not dat im complaining abt my acoustic la, but... i tink my trial period for learning bass is up. shud get real bass so dat i can play around with the sounds and the feeling of a normal electric bass. it's much heavier, btw.

yes, sabrina, i CAN cook. better than lynnett, too! haha... here's more proof k? haha...

it's sooooo lonely and boring at home aloneeeeee.... aiiieeee..... waaaiiiieeeeee must i live like thiiiiiiisssss....... aiiieeeee........

i'm evil; i beat eggs

6 days more to go! meanwhile, im at home cooking myself some breakfast! heh. went to jusco last night (where i bumped into lee jun lin proudly displaying on his shirt the number of A1 he's gona get, including 1119 lah) and bought various stuff larh. so here's what i did!

i got together the ingredients so dat u can see:

there's button mushrooms at the bottom left, 1/8 of its original size, onions, tomatoes, planta, cheese, and of course, eggs.

so after beating the eggs added with a dash of pepper and some soy sauce, i heated some planta in the pan and fried the onions a few seconds before adding 3 eggs. den quickly added some mushrooms n tomatoes... let her fry a lil. den folded it into half where d insides will be 'protected'. den after several minutes of frying n turning here n there, it's done! den i put it out onto a plate and turned back to the sink... and realised i forgot cheese. d'oh!

as i realised 3 eggs were a little too much coz the insides took quite long to cook while the outside started turning too brown, so this time i used 2 eggs. yada yada yada, same thing, but this time with mozarella cheese shreds added. at the time, they were still solid, but when i folded it and 'sealed' them inside, i guess the heat from the eggs themselves melted it to gif it that nice, gooey, sticky texture. den... breakfast served! of course i cut out about a third from each omelette for me mum when she comes home later, so the end result....

the one on the left is using 3 eggs and without cheese, the one on the right is using 2 eggs n with cheese.

the one without cheese. looked delicious and still gets me hungry when i see it. mmm....

the one with cheese. note the 'pizza' effect of the cheese... proves dat there's cheese larh. duh.

well... that's it for my breakfast. lunch? sushi that i ta pau-ed yesterday plus dis takoyaki thingy from jusco. hope it's still good! mm.... food.....
