GONG XI FA CAI!!

yes!! i'm back in malaysia, peeps! miss me anot?? hahaha... ahh... it's good to be back. back home. alrite! so i guess i owe u all an explanation rite? haha... i mean, i hafta talk abt my trip n post pics and all... so here goes. (btw, i cut down 250 pics to just 26 for u all, so u dun hafta read so long until 2 days oso still reading my post. lolz... here it is!

aites, nite of cny eve i was making my way to klia dy. flight transits at dubai, United Arab Emirates. i took Emirates flight. 7 hours to dubai, den 6 hours from there to vienna, the capital of austria. i was SERIOUSLY underdressed for d first day, so u'll see me looking frozen but normal looking for the first 2 pics, but for d whole of d trip after dat it was layer after layer after layer of clothing... i look comfortable but damn big la. haha.. so, first day it was just tshirt, sweater, jacket. wtv u call dem la. pants onli one layer. top got 3 layers. DAMN BLOODY COLD! dont let the appearance of sunshine fool u. it is COLD.

very quickly after landing at the airport, we got on our tour bus, the one that would be our tour bus for the next 8 or 9 days or so of travelling. immediately we started touring vienna. so... pictures!

oh yes, dinner. dinner is included in the tour package. and we got chinese food every night EXCEPT one night, later on i'll tell u lah.

so that night we checked into the hotel and the next morning we were off on d bus to another austrian city called salzburg.

salzburg is the home to 2 well known things. no.1: "...the hills are alive.... with the sound of ming wai...." okay i got that a bit mixed up, but eh... can u guess? dat's right! the Sound of Music was set here and filmed here as well. no.2: Wolfgang Amadeus..... familiar name? well, perhaps if i add his last name u'll get it. Wolgang Amadeus Mozart. yes! the famous musician who could play at 4 years old and started composing at 5 years old. genius! here's his home town lah. born here and all. we even visited his apartment, but evil people there no let me take photo. =(

the next day, day 3, we drove down to the town of innsbruck, still in austria. the drive took us thru germany actuali. to those of u who have google earth, have a look and u'll understand why we passed thru germany.

we arrived in the evening and went to this crystal store. it's world famous apparently, the brand of crystals called the swarovski crystals.

on day 4 we drove down from innsbruck to verona, italy. got my first taste of pizza here. fantastico! along the drive...

verona, home to romeo and juliet. this is mum with statue of juliet. locals say that if u fondle her boobs, u'll get good luck. guess that's y it's so shiny there horh... millions of ppl fondle her dy. haha... no, i didnt. i verli pure... haha...

then we drove to venice! well, we drove to the coast den we took a 30min boat ride lah. here it is:

yea yea, usually d conversation goes like this. "i went to venice." "wow! got take gondolla anot?" so... YES, i did go on d gondolla. 20euros per person. absurd la! he din even serenade us. btw, 1euro = RM4.80 or x5 la almost.

after that we went to....

then we went to another italian city called florence. this was the home to the world's 3rd largest church, behind St Peter's in Vatican City (which we'll see later) and St Paul's in London.

then, of course we went to the italian capital, rome! or, as they call it, roma! first stop: another country.

vatican city is a seperate country u noe? d smallest in the world. and it's right in the heart of rome.

Don't u tink it's a very nice painting? You're wrong. No no no, it's beautiful. but it's not a painting. it's so huge it looks like a painting. it's MOSAIC. ALL paintings in St Peter's Basilica have been replaced by mosaic replicates to preserve the original paintings.

there! done. my whole trip in as few pics as possible. well, i've actually been in 5 different countries in 10 days. did u pick them up? first, UAE, then austria, den (briefly) germany, den italy, den vatican city. cool! haha...

i miss u guys so much. my darlings! darlingest zmin, darling vina, darling nini, darling saby and buddy edwin, buddy qian, buddy buddy so many to list lah!! refer to my phonebook and/or blog links to see who i missed. haha...

i missed so many people.... and things. i missed valentines with my darling! gosh... and she was free on valentines and went out somemore. i feel so bad. aihya. now she's sick. get well soon aites? haha... miss me so much til catch flu. haha...
