anyways, in case you aren't from sunway a levels july 08 intake, i am on holiday dis week. been stoning lah. and lazy update blog. as usual. not as stressed anymore after mocks over. (yes i noe my major exam is coming soon stfu)
so anyways 8 of us went to sunway lagoon. i'll be posting in more detail later on when others post up pictures n i can steal from their blogs lar. so here's a brief run thru and also my thoughts on something that's been bugging me all day today.
morning meet at sunway lagoon, stop by for j.co's doughnut and black coffee. i dont noe y but i kinda insisted on going to j.co's for breakfast. mebbe it's coz i was thinking back to another lifetime when i went lagoon with another bunch of close friends (who are, by now, not as close anymore. dont ask and i wont lie.) and we had j.co's dat morning too.
for some reason my college buddies were in favour of going for d wet park before d dry park. therefore we went for all those rides n i pushed em on d floats at d wave pool and lazy river n all dat larh. n splash splash all. den after a brief bite, we went to d dry park. by then, boy was i exhausted. coffee wearing off, tired from all d exertion back at d wet park, etc etc. so no, i was not in tip-top condition to be going for all those barf-inducing rides.
i skipped d pirate thingy. den went some teapot thingy where u just spin n spin n spin n think of physics and spin and spin n think of centripetal forces n all dat nonsense dat im supposed to noe for a levels but not supposed to think of during a sunway lagoon ride during holidays. skipped d other tomahawk thingy. skipped d rollercoaster n d other one too. went for one or two more n dat was it.
now, d thing dat has been bugging me all day. since i didnt go for those rides right, some ppl just got it into their heads dat im sorta a wimp. a loser. and dat i suck for not going for these stuff.
well, maybe i am, who am i to say for sure?
but in my defence, let me tell you about my past experiences with these stuff.
i went for d genting stuff so long ago dat i cant rmbr when, and i only noe thru mum n dad abt it.
when i was ELEVEN, i went to disneyland in anaheim, california with mum. just two of us. mum n i were both scared but yet we still went for d matterhorn where it's almost all in full darkness. so dark u cant see ur own hands.
when i was FOURTEEN i went to disneyland paris. i went with a tour for youths, 5 girls and i. for three weeks i was in the uk and paris without family. and then at disneyland, i went for all those crazy rides by myself.
when i was SEVENTEEN i went to disneyland hong kong. quite a disappointment, actually. not many rides open. nevertheless, went for d space mountain n did other stuff.
last year, i went to some theme park in korea where there was a rollercoaster dat i went on dat was made fully out of wood and no metal, and it had a 70 degree drop (the highlight of d ride, apparently). during dat drop, my butt was off d seat. owh, and d ride was constructed such that d whole structure bends and sways along with u when ure taking those fast corners.
so tell me. do you think i'd be pissed when someone says that i suck for not going for all those rides at SUNWAY LAGOON? well, somehow i thought that real friends aren't judgemental. are they not real friends or have the rules changed?
screw this. it's 4am n i gotta sleep.
